Payment Policy

We accept payment in INR. Our website accepts Visa, MasterCard, Net Banking, UPI, Major Wallets (Phonepe-Paytm-Freecharge-Airtel Money-JioPay-PayZapp) and PayU, Local PickUp as well. All our transactions are processed using secure online payment systems. If ordering from outside the INDIA your payment provider will charge for currency conversion so the price paid might be a ‘little’ different. The same is true for refunds. Please contact us if you wish to pay by Cash or Bank Transfer (bank transfers in INR only).

 

Product Availability

We regularly keep our website updated. Once the order placed we will notify you regarding confirmation or product is not available. Due to constant changes we cannot guarantee availability. Our Office Hours are (11:00AM to 4.30PM MON-SAT IST) and subject to change. We will contact you as soon as possible. If you place especially a high-value order, we reserve the right to contact you for further confirmation of your order details, prior to authorization. Only after authorization order will be termed confirmed.

Prices are in INR and include GST where applicable. GST charges will be displayed on final checkouts. GST is deducted at the Checkout for non-INDIAN customers.

Delivery Policy

FOR INDIA:

In order to provide the best services to our customers: Major Items are under FREE SHIPPING PAN INDIA.

Whenever there is Zero INR – Shipping rate applied in the checkout page, it is termed as FREE SHIPPING.

In all the free shipping items: courier / shipping facility are decided by the company and it retains the right to change to any courier provider without informing client. Most of the times, Free Shipping Items are shipped using INDIAPOST – Road ways in India.  It takes around 4-8 days to reach the destination within Indian territories.

If client wants faster services they can select different shipping facility offerings.

Orders are dispatched when complete. If an item is in stock and we receive your order before 3pm IST, we normally dispatch it same-day or the next working day. Deliveries to INDIAN addresses usually arrive in 3-8 working days mostly via INDIA POST – DTDC – Professional Courier – FEDEX – MARUTI COURIER etc. with tracking details. The cost to deliver to INDIAN addresses is typically 100 INR – 180 INR for small items and around 150 INR per KG for large items and subject to Volumetric Weight.

OUTSIDE INDIA:

Orders are dispatched when complete. Deliveries via Couriers (FEDEX-DHL etc.) to locations outside the INDIA usually arrive in 1 to 2 weeks. (Deliveries via INDIAPOST require more time, sometimes 2+ weeks). The delivery charge is calculated automatically during the checkout process. If any discrepancies we find in automatic delivery charges than we reserve the right to inform and correct the charges.

 

Only Updated Delivery charges will be termed final before order confirmation & authorization. We sometimes need an additional 1-3 days to prepare an item for dispatch to non-INDIA locations & subject to local Holidays or any emergencies. Orders delivered to non-INDIA addresses – may be subject to import duties and taxes when the package reaches your country. VORION SCIENTIFIC is not responsible for these charges and we cannot predict what they might be, so we recommend you contact your local Customs office for further information.

Returns and Cancellation Policy

We wish to provide you a happy and satisfactory purchase experience with best of our intentions and services. Still if you are not happy with any product you purchased than please return it within 7 days of receiving the item. We will then exchange, replace or refund at your request subject to the following conditions:

  1. You must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.
  2. If the seal or packaging is not intact of Any Software – CD-DVDs will not be accepted.
  3. For any return or cancellation a valid proof of purchase must be supplied.
  4. All Gifts supplied with the product must be return.
  5. Products made to individual specification – or any custom – personalized items will not be refunded.
  6. We are aware that packaging takes a huge amount of work for safe transportation so we do expect a suitably packed item with no damages. Products must be returned with no extra damages.
  7. For orders delivered within the INDIA we will refund the standard courier charge and no Express Services or other charges.
  8. We will not refund courier charges for items delivered outside INDIA.
  • The Restocking fees are 3% of the product purchase price.
  • The malfunctioning of the new product or any damages to the original product or any other issues need to satisfactorily convey to the company by client. Company may ask for additional photos/videos or any other proof which it may feel convince. Company keeps the sole right with it to discard the return or replace or refund request if it deem that client’s proof is unjustifiable.

Where a warranty return or complaint is justified we will arrange collection, otherwise you will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Please do not return goods without first contacting us. Wherever possible we will respond to your individual circumstances. If a fault occurs after seven days but within the manufacturer’s warranty period we will offer you a repair, exchange or refund depending on the circumstances. Please keep the box & packaging. We do not insist on this but we know from experience how difficult it is to safely ship a telescope or mount without its original box and packaging so please do not discard them. At least for 30 Days. Thank You.

Note regarding binocular optical alignment: Binoculars are very reliable products. If a binocular is delivered with optics correctly aligned (collimated) it will remain that way for many years, unless it receives an impact. All our Binoculars are covered for manufacturing faults for a minimum of two years but optical misalignment resulting from impact is not covered so we strongly recommend you check for this within fourteen days of receiving the binocular. After seven days we will not replace or refund a binocular for optical misalignment but we will happily quote for, then arrange, a repair if possible. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Personal Information

Vorion Scientific will only disclose information to third parties for goods delivery purposes or, if necessary, when handling warranty claims. We do not sell, rent or loan customer email addresses or contact details to any other party. We may send occasional notices relating to our products or services but only to subscribers, you can unsubscribe from these at any time by clicking on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the emails or via your account settings page. Errors and Omissions

We make every effort to ensure that the information on our site is accurate and up to date. We will promptly correct any errors brought to our attention. Specifications are obtained from the manufacturers and cannot be guaranteed accurate. Product descriptions are for guidance only. Errors and Omissions expected.
