The ZWO T2 Tilt Adjuster is a must-have accessory for astrophotographers seeking flawless focus and imaging. Equipped with six knurled adjustment knobs, this device lets you fine-tune the angle between your camera sensor and the telescope's focal plane to correct minor tilt. This ensures sharper images across the frame and eliminates common artifacts caused by misalignment.
Particularly valuable when using H-alpha solar filters, the T2 Tilt Adjuster helps reduce the dreaded Newton’s Rings effect—those distracting interference patterns caused by slight gaps between camera sensors and filters. (Note: The camera and solar filter are sold separately.)
Crafted from black anodized metal, the adjuster features threaded female T2 (M42x0.75) interfaces on both sides. The included male T2 adapter ring can be removed for optical setups that require a thinner profile.
Optical Thickness: 11mm without the T2-T2 adapter; adding the adapter adds 2mm thickness.
Diameter: 78mm, suitable for secure mounting and compatibility.
Works with all ZWO ASI cameras except ASI071, ASI2600, and ASI6200.
Cooled Cameras: ASI294, ASI1600, ASI183, ASI533 — do not require the T2-T2 adapter.
Non-cooled Cameras:
ASI294, ASI1600, ASI183, ASI174 — no adapter needed.
ASI178, ASI290, ASI224, ASI120 — require connection via the T2-T2 adapter.
